These Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and User Agreement (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the iLokate mobile application, website, and related services (“Platform”). By creating an account, accessing, or using iLokate, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.---# 1. Platform OverviewiLokate is a technology marketplace platform that connects users with independent businesses and service providers. iLokate does not directly provide listed services and is not responsible for the actions, quality, legality, safety, conduct, scheduling, or performance of providers or users.Businesses and providers using iLokate operate independently and are solely responsible for the services they offer.---# 2. EligibilityYou must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use iLokate. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.---# 3. User AccountsUsers may create business accounts through the Platform.You agree to:* Provide accurate and current information
* Maintain the security of your account
* Keep login credentials confidential
* Accept responsibility for activity occurring under your accountiLokate reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement.---# 4. Business Provider ResponsibilitiesBusinesses and service providers using iLokate are independent entities and are not employees, agents, representatives, joint ventures, or partners of iLokate.Providers are solely responsible for:* Services offered through the Platform
* Pricing and service descriptions
* Business licensing and permits
* Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
* Customer interactions and appointments
* Refund decisions where applicable
* Collection and payment of all applicable taxesiLokate does not supervise or control provider operations or service execution.---# 5. Payments & TransactionsPayments made through iLokate are securely processed through Square or authorized third-party payment processors.iLokate does not store full payment card information.By using the Platform, you authorize payment processing for bookings, transactions, fees, refunds, or applicable charges associated with your use of iLokate.Platform fees charged by iLokate may be deducted from transactions where applicable.---# 6. Refund & Cancellation PolicyBusinesses and providers may establish their own cancellation and refund policies.Refund eligibility may depend on:* Provider-specific policies
* Appointment timing
* Service completion status
* Evidence of misuse, fraud, or abuseiLokate may assist in communication or dispute review but is not responsible for guaranteeing refunds between users and providers.Chargebacks, fraudulent disputes, abuse of the refund system, or unauthorized transactions may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.---# 7. Tax ResponsibilityBusinesses and service providers are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting all applicable taxes related to their services, earnings, sales, or transactions conducted through the Platform.iLokate is responsible only for taxes associated with its own business income, platform fees, and company operations.Users and providers acknowledge that iLokate does not provide tax advice.---# 8. Information We CollectWe collect the following categories of information:### Personal InformationName, email address, ZIP code, profile information, and account details.### Booking DataServices booked, appointment dates and times, preferences, and transaction history.### Payment InformationPayment information is processed securely by Square or authorized payment processors. iLokate does not store full payment card numbers.### Device & Usage DataIP address, device type, operating system, app version, and general usage analytics.### Business InformationBusiness profile details, images, gallery content, availability, services, branding preferences, and related business information.---# 9. How We Use Your InformationWe use information collected to:* Provide personalized search results and listings

* Process payments and transactions
* Improve platform functionality and security
* Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity

* Square for payment processing
* Hosting, security, analytics, or infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare or similar servicesAll third-party providers are expected to maintain industry-standard security and confidentiality practices.---# 11. Data Storage & SecurityPersonal information is stored using encrypted cloud infrastructure and reasonable security safeguards.Payment transactions are processed through secure third-party payment processors using tokenization and encryption technologies.While we take reasonable measures to protect user data, no platform or internet transmission can be guaranteed fully secure.---# 12. * Upload misleading, unlawful, or harmful content
* Circumvent platform fees or systems
* Engage in spam, scams, or deceptive practices
* Submit false reviews or manipulated ratings
* Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systemsiLokate reserves the right to investigate violations and remove accounts or content at its discretion.---# 15. Child Safety & Prohibited Content StandardsiLokate maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).The Platform strictly prohibits the creation, upload, sharing, solicitation, or distribution of any content involving:* Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
* Sexual exploitation of minors
* Grooming or predatory behavior involving minors
* Any activity violating child safety lawsiLokate is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly permit minors to use the Platform.### Reporting & EnforcementUsers may report suspected violations by contacting:

Account Suspension & TerminationiLokate reserves the right to:* Suspend or terminate accounts

* Refuse servicefor violations of this Agreement, suspected fraud, illegal activity, abuse, security concerns, or conduct harmful to the Platform or its users.---# 17. Limitation of LiabilityThe Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.To the maximum extent permitted by law, iLokate shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from:* Use of the Platform
* Provider services
* User conduct
* Booking disputes
* Payment issues
* Service interruptions
* Unauthorized access or security incidentsUsers access and use the Platform at their own risk.---# 18. Governing LawThis Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.---# 19. Policy UpdatesiLokate may update this Agreement periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.Updated versions may be posted within the app or website, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.---# 20.
